    Pseudoemiliania lacunosa (Kamptner, 1963) Gartner, 1969 [Ellipsoplacolithus]

    Description: Coccoliths circular to sub-circular with >12 slits, length >4μm. Abundant in the Late Pliocene, but well-developed, large, circular forms only occur in the Pleistocene.

    Remarks:

    Range: NN15 to 19.
