    Description: Central-area almost filled by strongly inclined disjunct bar, often very large.

    Remarks:

    Range: Palaeogene to NN4.

    Synonym: H. parallela Bramlette and Wilcoxon, 1967.

    Variant: H. rhomba (Bukry, 1971) Jafar and Martini, 1975 - bar does not fill central-area, transitional to H. intermedia.
