Description: Similar to Reticulofenestra but with a single large spine formed from inner tube.
Remarks: Endemic to the central Paratethys.
Range: Pannonian, broadly equivalent to zones NN10 and 11.
Variants: N. jerkovici Bona and Gal, 1985 - longer spine. Various other species of Noelaerhabdus were described by Jerkovic, but none of these are convincingly distinct.
Specimens from Croatia, Pannonian Stage (Sample ZP-119, Dol Klanjecki, Croatian Geological Survey). Scale bars two microns.
