This is mixed group of nannofossils which cannot be assigned to one of the four heteroccoliths or to one of the five nannolith families. It includes:

Heterococcoliths

Nannoliths (or possibly modified heteococcoliths)

NB The genus Neosphaera is now known to be prodced during an altenate life-cycle phase of Ceratolithus.
