Usage and uptake

It is encouraging that numerous nannofossil workers have found the site and signed up as users (there are about 60 registered users already despite very limited advertising for the site). Also I have had some very good feedback and the sytem often indicates that there are many guests online (20 at the moment), although I am not sure what that really means. On the other hand, no one apart from me (and my volunteer helper Jo) has posted anything substantive on the site. So, I am wondering if the sytem is confusing and if the user subscription system works properly. Comments on this and what could be done to make the site easier to use would be welcome.

NB Sadly there have been  dozens of spam comments added (and now deleted) so the default setting that coments by unegisterd users need approval will stay)

In the meantime, I am working on adding more  images and improving the pages on higher taxa so that they provide a guide to learning nannofossil taxonomy.
