Description: Similar to Braarudosphaera but sutures emerge through corners of pentalith and edge often indented.

Remarks: Most of the common Eocene species have been recorded in the Miocene but only sporadically and not in open-ocean deposits.

Range: Cretaceous to ?NN9.
